The Eco-Adventure Retreat: Itinerary
This itinerary utilizes the raw, imposing landscape of the Tsitsikamma coast. It is designed for anyone who requires a dynamic, outdoor-driven environment to disconnect from noise and rebuild their capacity.


Day 1: Arrival & Connect
Step into the rugged terrain of the Tsitsikamma coast. After arriving at Misty Mountain Reserve, check into your premium accomodation. We establish our baseline with an introductory movement session on the lawn, overlooking the forest canopy. The evening shifts to a welcome dinner, setting the standard for a week of real connection.


Day 2: Build & Hike
The morning kicks off on the deck with a functional strength and conditioning session designed to build real-world capability. Once fuelled by a high-protein breakfast, the gym expands into the outdoors. We take on a guided coastal hike, navigating the dramatic landscape down to the iconic Storms River suspension bridge.


Day 3: Push & Ride
We start the morning with a high-intensity interval training session. In the afternoon, the adventure shifts gears. We'll head into the forest for a high-energy quad biking expedition through the raw Tsitsikamma terrain, testing your focus and delivering an active, adrenaline-driven afternoon.


Day 4: The Gorge Expedition
Today focuses on high-level outdoor engagement. After our morning training rhythm, we head deep into the Tsitsikamma National Park. The team will tackle a challenging kayak and lilo adventure up the striking Storms River Gorge, working together to navigate the dark waters and towering cliffs.


Day 5: Restore & Reflect
We kick off the day with a morning HIIT workout, and fuel up with a fresh breakfast, then hike a Tsitsikamma coastal trail. The afternoon provides an open block for deep restoration. You have the time to reflect, or simply sit by a wood fire and absorb the striking environment.


Day 6: The Elevate Challenge
The group steps up for The Elevate Challenge, pushing physical limits and relying entirely on the team dynamic fostered throughout the week. In the afternoon, we explore the private reserves nature trails. As evening falls, we gather for our farewell dinner and stargazing, grounding the group before the return home.


Day 7: Departure
The final morning features a flush-out session to prep your body for the journey ahead. After one last breakfast with the group, coordinated transfers will take you to the airport. The work is done, and the standard is set for your return to life and business.
The Elevate Approach: Structure & Flexibility
This itinerary outlines the core architecture of our week, incorporating daily functional training, our coastal hike to the iconic Storms River suspension bridge, the high-energy forest quad biking expedition, and our demanding gorge kayak and lilo adventure.
While we program for high output, we also engineer space for deliberate rest. Throughout the week, there are open blocks designed for you to manage remote work commitments, fully utilize the reserve's premium facilities, or simply relax by a wood fire and absorb the striking Tsitsikamma environment. To strengthen the group dynamic, we also integrate informal community games and challenges between structured sessions to build genuine rapport and team cohesion.
Please note: Because our experience relies heavily on the rugged South African outdoors, this itinerary remains dynamic. We will proactively adjust the schedule of our training sessions, hikes, and water activities to align with optimal weather conditions on the coast, ensuring you get the highest quality experience possible.
